CLUTCH Empty CLUTCH

HOW DO I ADJUST THE CLUTCH PLATES ?Ihave side cover off and set screw for star nut removed now what???ANYBODY THAT CAN ADVISE ON THIS MATTER PLEASE DO SO THANX RONDO
