I just joined because I have been through three motors so far. I worked out all the kinks and I think I have finally got this thing down pat. I have noticed that some of these 2 stroke engines have been put together with faulty needle bearings which can break off and wreak havoc with your setup. I had to send another back because a pin in the clutch had been sheared off possibly during manufacture. I have found alot of the information in this forum to be extremely useful. Thanks guys for all of it! Waiting for my next build to come in the mail.

If you want to add proper functionality to your motorized bicycle, my suggestion is to purchase the Deluxe Shift Kit from SickBikeParts, but make sure you order the optional left hand sude and right hand side chain tensioners, then do this simple modification to the right hand side chain tensioner:
