Additional stability for the Sick Bike Parts shift kit
This method completely stops the Sick Bike Parts shift kit from twisting out of plumb due to jackshaft chain tension, especially if using the optional high torque gearing.
It doesn't matter how firm;y the U-clamps are tightened, the shift kit will still rotate downwards and out of alignment with the large sprocket attached to the bottom bracket spindle.
It also sends the alignment out of true when the jackshaft chain is engaging the teeth on the small sprocket, especially if running narrow 9 speed chain.
In my situation, there was a 4mm gap between the inner face of the jackshaft side plate and the seat post tube, when the engine and jackshaft kit were bolted to the bicycle frame.
It was a simple fix to super-glue a section of 4.5mm thick rubber to the inside of the plate, thereby directing the twisting forces onto the left side of the seat tube.
The jackshaft kit can no longer twist and sits perfectly true and plumb, regardless of how much power is put through the system.
It's such a easy and elegant modification; taking no more than 60 seconds to cut out a section of rubber and glue it in place.

Any chance you can remove your post, because it doesn't contribute to anything to this thread.
